P.B.Šivickis Laboratory of Parasitology

The main research trends – fauna of the parasites, systematic of parasites and their functions in ecosystems. The main research objects – cyst-forming coccidian and malaria parasites, Trematoda, and Cestoda. Traditional and molecular methods of investigation are usable.
