Developing a special publication about nature values of the Nemunas River Delta Regional Park

A special illustrated publication about nature values of the Nemunas River Delta Regional Park (in Lithuanian with English summary) will be prepared and published in 2009. It will enable to fill a major gap in public knowledge concerning the nature values of the Nemunas River delta. The publication will include important information on protected areas, existing regulations and available facilities for eco-tourists. It will highlight the importance of the Nemunas River delta as internationally important area for migratory bird populations.
